Like all of you, we are deeply affected by the tragedy in Haiti. As more news continues to break and the number of fatalities increases, we would like to ask our readers to pause for a moment, reflect on this devastation and help in whatever way they can. We've done some of the work for you already: CARE is sending relief workers into the city of Port-au-Prince. Direct Relief International has committed up to $1 million in aid through two on-the-ground partners, and is sending containers of medical material aid. Yele Haiti is sponsored by prominent Haitian-born musician Wyclef Jean. And the Red Cross has set up a donation-by-text method, where you can donate $10 by texting “HAITI” to 90999. Also lending support to the Haitian community is Chicago's arts community. Click here to see where you can find some laughs/entertainment for a good cause. What we're most excited about this week is our first annual Cheeky Chicks of the Year party at Sunda this Friday night. From 8-10 pm, enjoy complimentary Effen cocktails and swanky Sunda food, all while celebrating the women of this great city. We are running out of room, so quickly click here to RSVP! What we're equally, if not more excited about, is our fabulous 4-course dinner and wine pairing at NAHA this Valentine's Day (Saturday, Feb. 13th, to be exact). Seemingly, our PayPal link was not working correctly in yesterday's invite, so a big, bad, better one will be re-sent to you momentarily! We hope you'll be able to share this romantic, awesome, food/wine-filled evening with us! And, of course, we can't live without the hits, misses, laughs, tears, and this year, rain, of the Golden Globes. Click here for the Top Five Cheeky Moments of the night. Have a Cheeky day, but remember that not everyone else is, and we should be doing anything we can to help them - financially, physically, and spiritually. Cheekily,
