As you know, we are going to celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14th. But do you know where this day comes from?
There are a lot of different theories, but the one that caught my attention the most is the one from the Republic of Belarus. Saint Valentine was so heartbroken when his mistress rejected him that he took a knife to his chest and sent her his still-beating heart as a token of his eternal love for her.
The way I look at it, especially in these difficult times, is that there is always a perfect opportunity to share a smile and positive attitude with the one you love. When was the last time you called your parents just to tell them “I love you?” Think about your grandparents, your brothers and sisters etc… I understand that we all want to be with the one we love on Valentine’s Day, but many people around you will be so happy to know that you are thinking of them.
I would like to share with you a simple recipe for Valentine’s Day:
Ingredients: Don’t Be Cheap
Smile———————————a few pounds
Tenderness—————————a little more, little more
Tolerance—————————-always more
Attention—————————–endless
Sweetness—————————-you can’t add enough
Kindness——————————a lot
Combine all of this in a mixing bowl and you will have the best dish ever made: LOVE
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Love,
